Laura Chagnon-Lee’s passion for horses began at a young age, growing up in the rolling hills of New Hampshire in a horse-loving family. Introduced early by her mother, Laura quickly developed a natural connection with horses—riding, competing, and excelling in equestrian programs like 4-H. By the age of eight, she was already an accomplished rider, and over the years she combined her love for horsemanship with a talent for teaching, communication, and leadership.

After years of competitive success, coaching, and developing lesson programs, Laura followed her lifelong dream and founded Spirit Stables in 2015 in Tavares, Florida. Built on a foundation of faith, dedication, and a passion for helping others, Spirit Stables is more than just a riding facility—it’s a place where riders of all ages and abilities can grow, learn, and connect through the power of horses.

Today, Spirit Stables is a full-service equestrian facility offering riding lessons for ages 3 through adult, boarding and leasing options, and a variety of experiences including guided trail rides, birthday parties, competitions, and community events. Laura is especially passionate about working with individuals with special needs, providing equestrian-assisted learning experiences and supporting participation in programs like the Special Olympics.

With a continued commitment to excellence, Laura remains active in competition while inspiring her students to achieve their best—both in and out of the arena. At Spirit Stables, the goal is simple: to create meaningful connections, build confidence, and share the lasting joy that comes from working with horses.
